Couples Golf Association (HCGA)

The purpose of the Association is to promote golf events in a manner that permits couples to play together in an organized manner and to meet other couples having similar golf interests. Competitive events will be developed in a manner that promotes an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie in accordance with the rules of golf as published by the USGA. The idea of competition should not deter anyone from joining and participating. It is just a way to put a little spice in the outing. Prize money, generally paid to 50% of the field and equally in flights, is in 

Pro Shop credit, but not a significant in amount to cause any undue stress.

Couples Golf is played once a month, always on a Sunday, with afternoon shotguns during the Fall, Winter & Spring months and morning shotguns during the Summer months, followed by a lunch or dinner, whichever is applicable.  Many of the dates coincide with a holiday celebration though not necessarily on the holiday date unless it falls on a Sunday.

Communication with the membership is via email.

Monthly Event Flyers are sent out to all members, outlining the event particulars for that month, prior to the sign up date so that members can then sign up on Chelsea, via an Event Request, two weeks in advance.

It is important to include your email address on your application and notify a Board member if it changes.

Annual dues for the HCGA are $10 per couple.
