Activities Coordinator
We are looking to hire a part-time Activities Coordinator. You will be responsible for providing on-going activities/events for The Highlands at Dove Mountain Community. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule... hours will vary, including evening hours. Email resume or apply in person Monday - Friday from 8am to 3pm at 4949 W. Heritage Club Blvd. Must pass background (including federal background) and drug screens.

• Coordinate special events for members to participate, i.e., parties, guest speakers, classes, arts and crafts, etc.
• Act as a conduit for the homeowners to communicate information regarding member-initiated events and club activities.
• Maintain activities calendar on an on-going basis.
• Works closely with the Activities Committee.
• Provide assistance and support to Lifestyle Director

Job Requirements: 
• High School Diploma, college degree preferred 
• Excellent people and customer service skills
• High level of detail
• Skilled at multi-tasking
• Word and Excel proficient
• Strong state-wide network of people, places, and events
Compensation: $14-17/hour - depending on experience

The Highlands at Dove Mountain Home Owners Association (HOA) is currently seeking a part-time dishwasher. As a dishwasher you will be responsible for ensuring that our production teams have sanitary tools and workspaces. This includes all duties related to dishwashing: unloading kitchen deliveries and cleaning all of the dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Other areas of responsibility include food prep work and maintaining food quality and sanitation in kitchen. 

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and implements used by the store in preparing foods for sale.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls and shelves of kitchen area.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Perform food preparation work as directed.
• Accept and process product from receiver.

Essential Job Functions:
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
$10.50/hour to start

Landscape Technician
We are looking to hire a full-time Landscape Technician. You will be responsible for providing on-going landscape maintenance for The Highlands at Dove Mountain Community (country club and common areas) and completing work in a safe and efficient manner.   • Maintain all safety standards
  • Ensure all landscaping and ground maintenance assignments meet standards.
  • Monitor all job related supplies and equipment. Ensure all equipment is maintained properly and in good working order 
  • Work with Supervisor and co-workers to resolve all landscaping issues
  • Transplanting, propagation, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, constructing, and other forms of landscape maintenance
  • Perform all landscaping duties as needed
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor
  • Requires the ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions 
  • Frequently handle, lift, and carry from 50 to 80 lbs. and occasionally more with the assistance of material lifting devices or other workers.
  • Work hours routinely involve working in an environment of varying to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to use hand operated power tools.
  • Must be reliable and dependable

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of machines and tools used in landscaping/ground maintenance including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance is preferred
  • Prefer knowledge and demonstrated experience in irrigation and native trees/plants/ shrubs
  • Work hours routinely involve working in an environment of varying to extreme temperatures.
