Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is one of the oldest and most effective crime prevention programs in the country, bringing together citizens with law enforcement to deter crime and make communities safer.

The Highlands at Dove Mountain has partnered with the Marana Police Department to implement this program in our community. The program consists of a network of larger areas (building phases) which are subdivided into blocks of homes that are more or less contiguous.  Resident volunteers act as block watch captains (92 positions) and area coordinators (8 positions). A community coordinator interfaces with the area coordinators, home owner’s association, and the Marana Police Department.
