As community manager of The Highlands, Mark Oswald has overall responsibility for the homeowners association, golf and food and beverage operations. Mark came to Tucson in 1997 as GM of the newly opened Golf Club at Vistoso, and from 2007-09 was GM of Hilton El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort. From 2009 until 2015 Mark was the general manager of the Oro Valley Country Club. Mark had previously been the director of golf operations at Sunbird Golf Resort in Chandler, followed by roles as general manager of Great Eagle Golf Resort in Surprise and Prescott Country Club. Mark is a 28-year member of the PGA and in 2010 joined the Club Managers Association of America. He has received numerous awards and honors, including being named in 2010 among the PGA National Play Golf America Top 100 Professionals.

Scott_SchultzScott Schultz, Head Golf Professional

Scott Schultz has lived in in Tucson for 31 years from Missoula Montana originally.  His wife Jenny of 20 years and two wonderful children Ryan 15 and Tiffany 12 keep him very busy away from the club. Scott holds a degree from the University of Arizona in Regional Development in City Planning. Member of the PGA for 17 years.  Finalist in 2016 for the PING ClubCorp Golf Professional of the year. Raised over $40,000 the last 7 years for the First Tee Junior program. 

Mike_TreanorMike Treanor, GCSA Golf Course Superintendent

Born in Connecticut, Mike has lived in Arizona most of his life. Prior to entering the golf industry Mike worked in landscape management. Previous golf industry experience includes three years at The Westin La Paloma working as the irrigation manager and assistant superintendent. Mike began working at The Highlands in 1997 when he was hired as the assistant superintendent. Mike has served in his current role as the golf course superintendent since 2007.
